Original page was created on the Modded Wiki Project and ported over to MWP/Modding Wiki Project, this is another port over to Modded Wiki. This wiki page is about the datapack, not to be confused with the Towny server.
This page will include SirPumpkinStein's previous datapacks as well due to many of the features in those being later included in Asphodel Meadows and due to wanting to keep everything in one place.
Note: The current 1.17 compatible downloads are on Planet Minecraft, older versions are available via Curseforge here (1.13.2 to 1.14.2 but works on 1.15) and early 1.16 builds here.
Asphodel Meadows started on 1.13.2 as a datapack with a focus on the dimension (the surface of the nether), armour, tools, essences and fragments from ores and mobs which are used in crafting, Terraria inspired special ability items and use of recipe books as items to display the recipes.
Before being revamped during 1.14 snapshots until 1.14.2 (is compatible for 1.14.4 and 1.15) so the recipes were all stored in a single book, with bookmarking, more fancy effects like the fire effects on the highest tier armour and gear additions. The boss that was planned only got a model and had no AI but in newer versions is now a fleshed out experience.
VIDEO PLATFORM CREATORS such as Wattles, Logdotzip, SuntannedDuck2, Inkor's Universe and various others have reviewed, made tutorials and guides on it across versions and assisted with the development such as planned features (the latter two).
The datapack currently has been reworked again for the sequel with some similarities (with refinements) and due to the dimension additions of 1.16.2 (first appeared in the April Fools update) it now has it's own custom dimension rather than using the nether's roof.

Next Level is a large scale datapack like Asphodel Meadows though it focuses on various tool and armour tiers rather than a dimension and other types of content.
Inventory Tweaks (not to be confused with the mod)
A datapack that adds a few auto potions, advancements and a few tweaks for the player regarding arrow priority, when the bow is equipped offhand related benefits, tool swapping, and an armour loadout toggle.
Today we release the first update of the new Asphodel Meadows for 1.14!
Asphodel Meadows is a survival+ data pack adding new items, including armor, Tools, and accessories to enhance your game play!
it includes:
- A new dimension to explore!
- New ore type and crafting recipes
- Custom Crafter (The Infernal Machine)
- New Armor, Weapons, Tools and Items (over 30 new items to collect and use!)
- All new textures for items included in the resource pack!
- Advancements added to help with progression.

- How to install -
Once you've downloaded and extracted the .zip file you will have two folders:
- Asphodel Meadows v1.5
- Asphodel Resource Pack
To install the datapack you will need to place the Asphodel Meadows v1.5 inside the "datapacks" folder of the world you would like to play on. something like this:
minecraft>saves>world>datapacks
To install the resource pack you will need to place the Asphodel Resource Pack in your resource packs folder. (I think you can figure this one out!
once you have installed this correctly load up your world and type "/reload" (if cheats are not enabled you can also use F3+T to reload as well)

Once you see this message the data pack is installed and ready to play!
A couple of tips:
- Find the witches, they have secret plans for a new machine!
- If you get stuck on what to do next, check the advancements tab everything you need is in there
and read your recipe books!

Once your data pack is installed correctly, load up your world and you will see a new tab in your "Advancements" menu. Make sure you have the Asphodel Resource pack added as well otherwise this will look a bit weird!

KNOWN BUGS
Realms Servers: THIS WILL NOT WORK IN 1.16 unfortunately Mojang has not added support for their own custom dimension code into their realms servers yet.. because of this you will find the dimensions work perfectly fine in single player but if you upload the world to a realms server it will remove ALL dimensions except for the overworld (this includes the nether and the end)
Normal Minecraft Server Jar: This DOES work with no issues! please try this alternative if you are looking to play with friends (the .jar can be downloaded from the official Minecraft website)
I would recommend using a SpigotMC as is the only server so far that works without issues. (I will update this if we find others that support custom dimensions in data packs)
Paper Servers: These servers DO run custom dimensions however we have found that they lag significantly when you are in the custom dimension There have also been reports of mobs spawning out of control at crazy rates, this increases the lag. if you HAVE to play on a Paper server it may be best to play on peaceful or turn of natural spawning when in this dimension.
I will work to find fixes for these issues but unfortunately a lot of it will just be waiting for the server people to catch up and implement the tools to run these custom data pack dimensions correctly!

Hi Everyone! I am so so so excited to share with you my newest data pack creation!
Minecraft:Next_Level!!
WIP
The aim of minecraft:next_level is to create a bigger, badder, better version of Minecraft while only using the vanilla tools we have,
This datapack is compatible with the Java version of Minecraft and has been released for the most recent 1.14.4 update. I will manage and update this as the game is updated as well.
For now, this pack adds some additional improvements to your normal vanilla gameplay experience but it is my goal to create a more immersive and mod-like impact on the vanilla game.
taking inspiration from RLCraft and other mod packs, as well as Terraria, Cube world and a lot of our other favorite games my mission is to make an almost endless level of unique player customisation that no two players will ever stick to the exact same gear and mode of play.
For the very first official release here is what is included:
- Custom Enchantments
I've added several new enchantments into the game which work with a new custom block, the Emerald enchanter
these custom enchantments include some of our common wants:
- auto-smelting of ores (mine ores with a chance for it to give you the smelted version)
- veinminer style abilities (mine a vein of ore at the same time)
- tree-capitation (fell a tree in a single swoop)
as well as some new abilities like:
leech life (heal from the damage inflicted on an enemy)
Scan (see a health bar above mobs you've damaged)
stun (remove the ability for a mob to move around)
and many more!!
currently, you can enchant swords, pickaxes, axes, and shovels with more to come in new updates!
- Custom Crafter
a new custom crafter called the Gemstone Crafter is added for you to create new sets of armor, tools, and weapons from all the new items you find around the world.
this currently includes 10 new sets of items:
- Amethyst
- Dark Quartz
- Jade
- Topaz
- Ruby
- Sapphire
- Cactus
- Molten
- Frozen
- Ethereal
each of these sets come with:
- Sword
- Pickaxe
- Axe
- Shovel
- Hoe
- Bow
- Shield (only the gemstone sets)
- Helmet
- Chestplate
- Leggings
- Boots
- Amulet (only the germstone sets )
these custom sets are all higher than diamond tier and look really cool! also if you wear the full set of armor you will get a particle trail for that color!
The Crystal Ball
this custom item can be used to find all the recipes added in the game, just place in the item you are looking at and it will display all recipes associated with that custom item. you can even use paper to keep a record of the recipe you want to try! this will be constantly updated as we make more sets and more cool items to play with! many updates to come and many expansions to make!

The Diamond Anvil
you can use this to re-roll the Quality attribute on your tools and armor - when you start to use a tool or armor it will set a custom quality to either buff or debuff your item (use the material you crafted the item with to re-roll it's quality)
Custom Mobs!
Using a global level scaling system the higher your level is the more chance you will find rarer and harder mobs, these will be a little more challenging but can provide good loot if you defeat them!
Custom Structures
∫Throughout the world you will find custom structures, dungeons and houses to explore and loot! these add another awesome element into game exploration!
[This datapack is suitable for both minecraft 1.14 and 1.15 however please use the 1.15 resource pack for 1.15 as there were some graphical changes that effect the ways some blocks look!]

Minecraft:Next_Level Bring a Multitude of new game mechanics to Minecraft in ways you've never seen before! to enhance your play experience by yourself and with your friends! (That's right! this is 100% MULTIPLAYER COMPATIABLE)
Here are some of the new added goodies!
Custom Armor, Tool and Weapons sets!
Currently I've added a total of 10 new sets crafted from special items found around the world
an example:
Molten Set - Mine Magma blocks for a chance to drop Molten Metal... Use this in the custom Gemstone Crafter to craft all sorts of new and exciting items!
Custom GUI Blocks
I've added new functionality for your Minecraft journey!
- Gemstone Crafter
This custom block is used as a crafting table, with the same UI you can use this to craft custom items!
- Emerald Enchanter
Similar to the normal Enchanter, you can use this to give yourself up to 3 additional custom enchantments on items like tools, shield, armor, and bows!
- Diamond Anvil
The Diamond Anvil will allow you to Disenchant items, Add new skins to your items, reduce the repair cost of expensive items and more!
- Crystal Ball
The Core item you'll need to play this pack! putting one of the new "Next_level" items in your crystal ball will show you all the recipes you can craft with it! you can even add some paper to store the recipe so you can refer back to it while crafting!
Better Traders!
Another amazing feature I've added is MUCH better wandering traders! you can buy and sell items with these merchants with 4 new variants currently added (more to come)

Future Plans
Inside the datapack you will see a todo list with a PILE of features that are not yet added! these will definetly be added somewhere down the track and are all subjected to be changes but a couple of things that will be added are:
Magic System
A new way of binding enchantments and custom enchantments along with new spells to Spell tomes and books used for casting. also staffs and wands as well
Custom Potions
New potion stand with new recipes as well! including mana potions and team player teleports as well as home teleport potions and more!
Custom Structures
New structures including campsites, floating islands, dungeons and more!!

Inventory Tweaks is JUST what you need as an adventurer!
This Data pack adds some awesome quality of life functions to your normal minecraft experience.
HOW TO INSTALL:

Features:
This pack adds 4 new quality of life changes
1. Auto Potions -
Use the far right slots of your inventory as a "Potion Belt" (as shows in the picture) drinking the potion on your hotbar will automatically swap it out with the next potion in your belt!
2. Arrow Quiver -
Placing arrows in the top right slot of your inventory will keep them as priority no matter what other arrows you have it will always use these ones first. swapping to a bow or crossbow will swap out any item in your offhand with these arrows - this will swap back when you are no longer holding a bow or crossbow.
3. Armor Loadout Toggle -
The top left slot of your inventory has been replaced with a "toggle loadout" button. Press this to swap your current armor loadout with a stored loadout, storing the current set at the same time. you can press this button again to swap back! [WARNING ANY SAVED LOADOUT WILL DISAPPEAR IF YOU DIE]
4. Tool Swap -
Any Item on your hotbar that has the same item above it will be swapped if that item is broken or dropped.
eg. a stone pick in your first slot once broken will immediately swap to another stone pick if there is a stone pick in the inventory slot above it.
You can turn the tweaks off by running /trigger inv_tweaks
this will ONLY turn them off for your player - you can turn them on again at any time. [WARNING: Turning off tweaks will remove the armor stored in your toggle loadout button so make sure you manually unequip all armor first!]
This pack is multiplayer compatible!! and also HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to be played with my other packs
