Mechanical Mixer is a rotational crafting block added by PolyFactory. It is used to mix items and fluids, creating other items. It's placement is directional, but only indicates item input/output when used with Item Conveyors, Funnels and Hoppers. It is mostly used to craft selected items with more better resource use and creation of potions. All the recipes are viewable in Polydex recipe list.

Usage

By right-clicking Mechanical Mixer, it's inventory screen will be opened. It contains 6 input slots, 3 output slots and fluid storage indicator. When powered (by connecting rotational elements to it's upper sides) and valid recipe items are provided, it will craft an item and/or fluids after some recipe specific amount of time.

Some recipes might require specific heat levels. This is controlled by the biome the machine is in (cold biomes lower the temperature, hot increase it) and blocks below it (using lava, campfires or torches will increase the temperature).

Items can be provided to it automatically. Connecting conveyor, hopper or other compatible item transport method on the front side (one with arrow) will put that item in input slots.

Output items can be pulled from the bottom or the back (side opposite to one with the arrow).

Fluids can be provided via Copper Pipes from any side.

Obtaining

It can be crafted using Steel Machine Gearbox, Cauldron and Iron Shovel.
