Mechanical Miner is a world-interacting block added by PolyFactory. It allows for automated and lossless block breaking and entity damaging, with both being registered as player action. To work it requires a tool, used to mine blocks and/or damage entities and source of rotation connected to it's back. To break a block the tool needs to be efficient against it, as otherwise the miner will lock up. Tools are damaged the same way as regular item usage, including all enchantment effects and special mod-bound effects. By default, any tool (defined in Fabric's c:tool
tag) and Steel Gear can be put in it. The block itself can only store a single tool, by itself also not storing any mined items.
When used with Redstone Comparator, the resulting power level depends on amount of durability left on the tool.
