Astral Arsenal is a Fabric 1.21.1 mod developed by Astratene and TeamVoided. It is designed to change Minecraft combat significantly


Weapons

Astral Arsenal currently adds 4 weapons as listen below, they can be incredibly strong pieces of ones arsenal if used correctly.

Kosmogliphs

Kosmogliphs are an incredibly powerful concentration of astral energy, they grant strong bonuses to you, mostly giving bonuses on attacks, using tools, or granting new attacks to certain weapons. Here is a full list.

Chestplate

The chestplate has 6 Kosmogliphs, each one is made to cover Astral Arsenals 7 Damage Types

Non-chest plate armor

These kosmogliphs mostly grant powerful movement capabilities to the player.

Tools

There are 4 tool kosmogliphs, some are available on multiple tools, but two are exclusive to the pick-axe and hoe respectively

Vanilla re-balances

Astral Arsenal changes a few vanilla features in order to balance the mod a little bit more.

Protection

Protection is completely removed in Astral Arsenal. However, in order to compensate there are the chest plate kosmogliphs, forcing you to specialize in a particular defense type.

Feather falling

Feather falling grants 20% damage reduction per level rather then 12%, this is to make up for Protection no longer existing.

Shield

The shield has no delay between activation and starting to block things.

Using all items

Using items slows you down by a more variable amount, defaulting to 50% less movement speed (Vanilla minecraft usually changes it to 80% less movement speed for every item)

Arrows of Harming

Deal 0 magic damage if the arrow deals less then 3 damage.

Now deals 2 damage per level instead of dealing ((6 * amplifier) - ArrowDamage) magic damage.

Power

Reduced the damage bonus power grants by 50%

Arrows

All damage from arrows (not including extra magic damage from Harming) deals 1.5x damage to non-players. This is to compensate for the power nerf.

Damage Types

Astral arsenal divides vanilla and Astral Arsenals damage types into 7 tags that are used in several places.

Explosions

Explosions added by astral arsenal are unique in that they do not have damage fall off, if you are within the radius of the explosion, you will take the damage the explosion deals.

These explosions also do not scale with difficulty.

Crimson Time

A new mechanic that makes it so that once your crosshair leaves an opponent, you can still hit them for 5 ticks. This is indicated by a red filter over your crosshair.
