Usage

Placement

A pot and a pan placed on top of two active stoves

When placed, pot's texture rotates relative to the direction the player is facing while placing the block.

Cooking

Pots are used to cook new dishes. The player can place up to 6 different items as the input and one bowl on top of the output slot. Each slot can hold up to a stack of items, including the output[note 1]. The pot must be on top of a lit Stove in order for it to start cooking. Dishes that require bowls will not start cooking until at least one bowl is added to the bowl slot.

Unlike furnaces and smokers, the player will not receive any experience from cooking food in a pot.

Recipes

The main GUI of the pot.

The recipe book within the pot.

The pot's recipe GUI can be accessed by clicking the recipe book button to the right of the output slots in the main pot GUI. All items in the ingredients slots are shapeless recipes.
