An Ender Soul is a rare drop from Ender mobs. The material currently only serves the purpose of crafting Heart Containers. The item isn't effected by gravity.

Obtaining

Mob Loot

All non-boss have a 3% chance to drop 0-1 ender soul when killed. If a mob is a boss, the chance changes from 3% to 25% (with the sole exception of the Ender Dragon, which will always drop 5-10 souls). The drop chance isn't effected by Looting.
