Bomb Flowers are an item obtained by harvesting them from a fully-grown Bomb Flower Plant. Throwing it will create a bomb. The bomb will be lit if thrown from a bomb bag enchanted with fire aspect, thrown when with a flint and steel in the offhand, or by interacting with the bomb entity with a flint and steel.

Bomb flowers have a 2.5 second fuse, and can destroy cracked blocks when they explode.

Obtaining

Natural generation

Bomb flower plants generate underground from levels 50 to -64, being more common in the lower elevation. They will not generate if they're not next to an underground lava lake (within a 5x3x5 range of lava). These Plants will drop bomb flowers when they're fully grown.

Breaking

Bomb flower plants can be mined instantly with any tool or by hand. A Mature bomb flower plant yields 1 bomb flower.

Harvesting

Bomb flowers can be collected from a bomb flower plant by pressing the use control on it. After dropping the bomb flower on the ground, the bomb flower plant reverts to its first growth stage.

Trading

Wandering traders may occasionally sell 4 Bomb Flowers for 5 emeralds.
