An ice pane is a transparent block that can be used in a window, like glass planes.

Obtaining

Breaking

Ice panes can be obtained by breaking them with any tool. They do not have a specialized tool, they are broken at the same speed regardless of the tool used.

Natural Generation

Ice panes will generate in the Frostologer's Castle and in Chillager Outposts.

Usage

Placement

Ice panes have similar placement to glass panes.

Melting

Ice regular ice, ice panes melt when in the presence of a block light level of 12 or more. Unlike ice, when ice panes melt, they will do not create a water source.
