}}Mechanical Press is a rotational crafting block added by [[Mod:PolyFactory|PolyFactory]]. It is used to press down one or two items, creating new crafting materials. it's placement is directional, but only indicates item input/output when used with [[PolyFactory:Item Conveyor|Item Conveyors]], [[PolyFactory:Funnel|Funnels]] and [[minecraft:Hopper|Hoppers]]. It is mostly used for creation of plates, but can be useful for compacting blocks or merging some items. All the recipes are viewable in [[Mod:Polydex|Polydex]] recipe list.

By right-clicking Mechanical Press, it's inventory screen will be opened. It contains 2 input slots and single output slot. When powered (by connecting rotational elements to it's upper sides) and valid recipe items are provided, it will craft an item after some recipe specific amount of time.

Items can be provided to it automatically. Connecting conveyor, hopper or other compatible item transport method on the front side (one with arrow) will put that item in first input slot. Providing items from left and right side will put them in second input slot.

Output items can be pulled from the bottom or the back (side opposite to one with the arrow).
