ModFest is a Mod Jam/Hackathon held by Mod Developers that make mods for the Fabric (since created in 1.14), Quilt (as of 1.17) and NeoForge (as of 1.21.1) modloaders. The concept is similar to ModJam. Each ModFest has a different theme and a set amount of time for Modders to create mods. A new ModFest is created each new Minecraft version (or exceptions such as season in the case of FallFest in 1.16.3 and a few others). Groups of Modders or individuals make their own mods in a set amount of time to provide new ideas and challenge themselves.
ModFest mods are posted to the ModFest Discord, a packaged ModFest modpack when the event is over and individual mods (sometimes and no modpack like with FlashFest, pretty sure almost if all mods end up in the modpack whatever state is applicable) are posted to Curseforge (in the past) or Modrinth for players to access/mods get expanded upon or stay on GitHub/are abandoned (or the only easy way being the modpack if project pages are hard to find/removed).
Each ModFest started after a major release version began, once a version is stable enough, whenever they have themes/ideas to make a ModFest for it to setup (more likely the last one) (FallFest starting in 1.16.3 as an exception as well as exceptions like Blanketcon being Quilt convention types or others like 1.19.2 or 1.21.1). ModFest has it's own website, awards and modpack that players can view that breaks down submissions, modpack link, about ModFest and has a timetable/other details.
Each one ranges in different themes and conditions to follow. Like making mods that don't alter gameplay/modifying essential game mechanics, using public domain assets, using pre-created libraries, resubmission/limited bug fixes and patches that can be made before being disqualified and more. Anyone in the ModFest Discord can vote on the mod they think best fits the award and the votes are tallied up.
The awards are just for fun nothing more grand or meaningful. Awards (Paper Plate Awards) are for whoevers most closely resembles the theme.
Mods included in each pack are less content heavy or stable than their further updated versions as they are just the completed versions released in time for the end of each ModFest. This varies as some mods are expanded upon then their ModFest prototype/early project status. It varies per author's interest in continuing it further.
ModFest (Fabric most times, odd times like Singularity as Quilt 1.19.2 or ModFest 1.21 NeoForge, it's most just the main ModFest event/modpack/submissions), Blanketcon (is a convention with modders and community members with mods and events, while it had Quilt a few times it is not purely for Quilt, while could have been it's original purpose it was more so to be a 'blanket' with "cold mods and blanket out hot eat the mods" so to speak), now been removed from the main ModFest website but in as much detail as possible on this wiki to archive it), FlashFest (Fabric April Fools snapshot mods, no modpack just submissions).
Modpacks, mod submissions, details (awards, creators, download links, start/ending times, maps made and more) from 1.14+ are present are listed in as much detail as possible (such as Blanketcon removal or images for submissions that may be absent, but have been re-accessible again)/straightforward of what was listed on the ModFest page at certain points in time or to reflect the current status of the page when finished.

Located just a small ways away from a residential town, many travellers from the city choose to duck through the mountain pass and pass around Lemniscate River. The roads are known to be safe, lightly peppered with merchants, and - most importantly, and like many river-valleys like it - inhabited by ghostly animal-shaped spirits with which commoners and artisans alike trade goods in exchange for magical services - simple enchantments, animating automatons, illusions, and so forth.
But now, the carnival is in town! and no matter what your local region calls these ethereal creatures, you can come on down!
Sell your wares, sweet treats, and fascinations! Commune with the local elwolves, tugbats, and all other spirits tucked in the trees! Tuck yourself away to hone your master craft! Entertain, amuse, and delight your friends!
It's said that long ago, the great dragon Epoch swallowed whole our prosperous village.
Ever since, fragments of time have rained down from the heavens - technology, resources, and even people - dazed and confused, grasping for a semblance of familiarity.
And so, to protect our society and ways of life, the town of Stasis was cleaved into "ages" - Stone, Iron, Industrial, and Information. Each meeting only at the Temple of Epoch - where we pray for good harvests, safe travels, and low compile times - a reminder that despite our differences, we are one people.
From dinosaurs to castle walls, and smokestacks to server racks - the town of Stasis could be many things - so you decide! After all, who's to say what the townsfolk believe is even true?

Located in the subtropics, I mean, the tropics? Blast it, let me start again. Volcano Island appears to drift across the ocean all on its own. Inhabited by the descendants of unlucky castaways and frequented for its surf season, the island is classified for conservation in most of the jurisdictions it's wandered into.
Navigating these complex bylaws, the locals - the lake-loving flamingos, the fruit-like ananas, and the geckos endemic to the island's volcano - have built stores, workshops, communal residences, and even a seaside town.
My pals from Rustport make trades there, in supplies. Supposedly there's this "grand opening" coming soon. Something really special, that only happens every quarter-century. So hey, why don't you and me hitch a ride?
Maybe we can finally solve the mystery of this place. You know - why it moves? See, the geckos have lived there longest, and apparently they tell a tale of a great turtle; one that's contently carrying an entire island on its back.

This one was like prior years, 24 hours to make a mod for the April Fools version. Due to no Fabric API (was used with Fabric Loader, and no reference of Quilt) there was a handful of mods but not many even if there is only a few that attempt Flashfest compared to ModFest/Blanketcon scale ones.
There is no Flashfest 25w14craftmine ModFest website so just paraphrasing will be here as well as the submissions that can be found in the ModFest discord.
