Turtle knee pads are a special type of leggings that can resist heat. They are part of the turtle armor set.

Usage

Waterbreathing

When equipped, turtle knee pads provides 15 seconds of the Water Breathing effect. This effect immediately recharges when exposed to air or bubble columns. This effect stacks with other pieces of turtle armor.

Attributes

Turtle knee pads provides +5 Armor, +1 Heat Resistance, and +0.25 Environment Heat Resistance. If Frostiful is also installed, then it provides -2 Frost Resistance and -0.125 Environment Frost Resistance.

Unit Repair

Turtle knee pads can be repaired in an anvil by adding turtle scutes, with each scute restoring 25% the turtle knee pads' maximum durability, rounded down. Two turtle knee pads can also be combined in an anvil. Both methods preserve the leggings's enchantments.

Enchantments

Turtle knee pads can be enchanted with all the normal enchantments for armor, and Scorchful's Rehydration enchantment.

Armor trimming

It is possible to upgrade turtle knee pads with trims. This requires a smithing template, turtle knee pads, and an ingot or crystal.

These trims have no effect on the gameplay or strength of the armor.
