The Gearbox is an item added by [[PolyFactory]] that is used to split and redirect [[PolyFactory:Axle|Axles]]. It accepts input from any direction, and outputs to any direction that isn't an input.

}}Mechanical Press is a rotational crafting block added by [[Mod:PolyFactory|PolyFactory]]. It is used to press down one or two items, creating new crafting materials. it's placement is directional, but only indicates item input/output when used with [[PolyFactory:Item Conveyor|Item Conveyors]], [[PolyFactory:Funnel|Funnels]] and [[minecraft:Hopper|Hoppers]]. It is mostly used for creation of plates, but can be useful for compacting blocks or merging some items. All the recipes are viewable in [[Mod:Polydex|Polydex]] recipe list.

=== Usage ===
By right-clicking Mechanical Press, its inventory screen will be opened. It contains 2 input slots and single output slot. When powered (by connecting rotational elements to it's upper sides) and valid recipe items are provided, it will craft an item after some recipe specific amount of time.

Items can be provided to it automatically. Connecting conveyor, hopper or other compatible item transport method on the front side (one with arrow) will put that item in first input slot. Providing items from left and right side will put them in second input slot.

Output items can be pulled from the bottom or the back (side opposite to one with the arrow).

}}Windmill is a rotational source block added by [[Mod:PolyFactory|PolyFactory]]. You can place it by using a Windmill Sail item on an [[PolyFactory:Axle|Axle]], converting it to the Windmill block. It can only connect to other blocks from a single direction. By using the [[PolyFactory:Wrench|Wrench]], it can be rotated.

Windmill Sails can be dyed is similar fashion to [[Minecraft:Leather Armor|Leather Armor]] and mixed together in any pattern within the Windmill block.

=== Rotational power generation ===
Main purpose of the Windmill is to generate rotational force that can be used by other machines. The amount of it depends on multiple factors, such as:

# Amount of sails, with minimum being 2. It effects final stress capacity supported by the windmill.
# Height it is placed on (depending on dimension). It needs to be at least 5 blocks above the ground in Overworld (and any modded dimensions) to start rotating, through being higher gives better results. In The Nether, it needs to be around y=64. In The End dimension position doesn't matter. It effects final speed and stress capacity.
# The biome, with ocean biomes giving x1.3 and beaches and mountains x1.2 boost to both speed and stress capacity.
# Whenever it is raining, giving additional x1.1 boost to speed and stress capacity even if under shelter.

You can connect multiple windmills in parallel to increase total stress capacity available.

Formula for speed, where ''x'' is speed, ''y'' is the number of sails, ''p'' is the block position, ''b'' is the biome multiplier, ''r'' is the rain multiplier, and ''d'' is the distance to ground:<ref name=":0">Assuming 2 or more sails</ref>
